Privacy and Data Protection Policies
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation in effect for European citizens since 25 May 2018, and a number of similar laws passed and coming in various United States jurisdictions, including Ohio, Guiding Well-Being and Veronica Petta strive to comply with reasonable and required policies for protecting clients’ personal information.
Your name, email address, your phone number and possibly other personal data are collected and maintained on Wix servers when you complete the contact form in the footer of this website. This personal information may be automatically forwarded to me by Wix as an email via the integrated use of a G Suites email account. This allows you to request assistance and allows Guiding Well-Being and Veronica Petta to respond to you in return. Your information may also be recorded offline and kept in Word, Excel and/or paper files until our interactions have been completed.
This data is removed from my hard drive or removed from my files and destroyed after 5 years if further services have not been requested. It may also be removed from the Wix account and the G Suites email account on a more frequent basis. You are entitled to request that your personal information be deleted from my possession or access at any time.
Similarly, your name and remarks are displayed to the public when you choose to use the Comments feature of this website's blog. In order for comments to be displayed, they are kept in a database on Wix servers. You may delete your comments at any time, and request that your comments are also removed from the database.
I do not monetize (share or sell) your information to any 3rd party merchants or service providers.
About Browser / Analytic Cookies
This website's sitemap has been submitted to Google Search Console for site ranking purposes in Google's search engine. Google uses computer code called cookies which can ascertain the general location, computer IP address, and type of device used (desktop / laptop / cell phone / tablet) used when visiting this website for the purpose of tracking internet use by the general public.
However, that information is not monitored by Veronica Petta or Guiding Well-Being. Neither Veronica Petta, Guiding Well-Being nor this website's host have access to your browser history. This website's webhost, Wix, does gather and aggregate minimal non-identifying information such as which pages and posts are visited the most, at what time of day on which days, on which social media any pages or posts are shared, and which countries visitors are coming from. This helps the website owner to know what kind of content readers are most interested in, so that you can can be provided with more of it. Neither Veronica Petta, Guiding Well-Being, nor Wix can see your IP address, or city.
